“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” (1 Timothy 4:12)
For so many years and long ago, our Church has been blessed by the Ministry of the Young People (YP). They have changed the lives of many people and the community as well. The yesterday’s “young ones” are now called the “once young” of our Church. Some have gone for studies and sought for opportunities in different places while others returned and settled down. This is the fast cycle of Young People’s lives.
Today, our YPs are more dynamic than before. Two of them have joined the Bible Baptist Seminary in Cebu. With the leadership of their President Arvin Gamos Zuela and guidance of their Spiritual Director Engineer Jason Fetalsana Rufon, they helped in Sunday afternoon Worship Services by singing in the Choir, sponsoring a Worship Service, assisting the Deacons and Deaconesses during Soul Winning and Home Visitation, Music Ministry, Fellowship with Men and Women, attending prayer Meetings, International Youth Congress, Hospital and Jail visit and many more Church ministries.
This coming year another batch of Young people will enrol in Bible Baptist Seminary in Cebu in order to submit for full time Christian ministry. With these blessings , we thank God because He answered our Church prayers by giving us Missionary Young People..
